Cognize Your Child Sexuality and Banish Paedophiles

Abstract


Children’s are three times as likely to be victims of rape than adults. Child sexual abuse is highly pandemic in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Child sexual abuse is the greatest evil in our society. The abuse is not inevitable but its preventable. The victims are damaged to different degrees, it depends on the traumatic sexualisation, stigmatization, betrayal and powerlessness of a victim child and his or her family. In India, it happens 1 in 5 girl child and 1 in 6 boy child. As parents, knowing your child has been sexually abused is often the worst experience you will have.
