ACCOMPLISHMENTS/INNOVATIONS

1. Involved in innovative development of five videos on Skilled Attendance at Birth in the year 2013.

2. Prepared 9 minute game on maternal health

3. Started with the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme in the year 2013

4. Started with Ph. D Nursing in the year 2015 at Jamia Hamdard

5. Formulation of Alumni Association for the Faculty of Nursing for the first time under the patron ship of the Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor Jamia Hamdard, Dr. G. N Qazi.

6. Formation of Eco Club with the Department of Environment Govt of NCT, Delhi.

7. Key person in the establishment of the first National Skills Training Centre – DAKSH at Jamia Hamdard in collaboration with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. October 2014.

8. Developed mLabour – A novel mobile tool supporting safer deliveries in India. 2014.

9. The collaboration (MOU) between Kungsholmens Vastra Gymnasium, City of Stockholm, Sweden and Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard enabled 3 teachers and 9 students from Rufaida College of Nursing to make study visits and observations at Sweden. It enriched the students and teachers with academic, and socio-cultural experiences. 2015.
